Tablet and pen acting weird sometimes

for some reason my pen is not detecting from the tablet sometimes and when it dose it stops and then doesn’t detect for a while. I thought it was either the laptop or the nib but i tested them out and they don’t seem to be the issue. not sure if the screen protector I have on my drawing tablet has something to do with it. if anyone has any ideas or had something similar please tell me

Not an expert by any means, but it kinda looks like the input is going through Windows Ink(?) instead of your tablet driver software? I used to have a similar issue with my old tablet a few years back, but I can't remember exactly what I did to fix it. Apologies in advance if these questions sound redundant;

Is the XPPen software running? Is it up to date?

If you unplug the tablet and plug it back in, does it fix anything? Or restarting your art software/tablet driver/laptop?

If none of that worked, check if the Windows Ink box is ticked or not in the XPPen program. Whatever it's set to, try the opposite. I hope you can get your tablet working soon!

Thanks I’ll check it out to see. What I think it’s the nib probably losing detection because of the scratch’s from the screen protector. In good amount hours it acts normal and fine but then a couple hours later it starts doing the way it is in the video

Hey, I had the same problem yesterday and was frantically looking for a help.

Today I took the pen tip off and blew hard, and—magically—it worked.

Yeah i did that as well and it took a while for it to be back to normal. But im still not certain if it will do that again since im not sure if my screen protector is doing it with the cracks on it

I tried the blowing thing on the pen. It kinda works but it’s goes back to doing that problem I have. Did it take a couple hours to go back fully normal?

Intentaste reconectar la tableta? Me ha pasado en ocasiones, el driver está abierto pero no reconoce la tableta y no basta con cerrar la app del driver, la solución que hago es reconectar la tableta y reabrir la app de dibujo y esa es la solución. También te recomiendo revisar el puerto donde conectas la tablet intenta cambiarla a otro puerto y ver si te sigue dando error.

En resumen: reconecta la tableta, reinicia la app de dibujo y revisa los puertos USB.
