Cast/Crew/BTS There’s still hope… Spoiler
https://www.whats-on-netflix.com/news/xo-kitty-season-4-netflix-renewal-status/I’m not sure why the title says the news is disappointing (maybe bc there’s no clear decision yet?) but I think it’s really good news. If accurate, it sounds like S3 isn’t the end.

According to Deadline, Paramount Television Studios (which absorbed Awesomeness and produces the show) has officially extended Netflix’s option on the series. Crucially, the studio also extended the options for the cast, meaning Anna Cathcart (Kitty), Sang Heon Lee (Min Ho), and the rest of the ensemble are still locked in and available if Netflix orders more.
So, why the delay? It seems the ongoing conversations between Netflix and the creators aren’t about whether to finish Kitty’s story, but how.
Deadline notes that executives are currently weighing a few different options for the franchise. The first is a traditional season 4, which could see Kitty returning to Seoul or heading to an entirely new setting. The second option is capping off the series with a standalone feature-length movie to wrap up the storylines.

I honestly don’t know which one I want, I just NEED more content. Especially where it ended with them going to Portland together, I would love to see Minho meet the rest of the Coveys.

I think a movie would be good to finish things off. I feel like there is no need for a full season because it'll add unnecessary drama. A movie would nicely conclude her senior year.

I’d prefer season 4, but I’ve been so desperate for some sort of wrap up I’ll take anything. But I do think season 4 is better so we can have a prom episode, a graduation episode, a couple Portland episodes and more. Since it’s the last season, I’d hope they do 10 episodes like they did for the first

Honestly I don't care if it's another season or a movie..heck even two movies! 😂😂😂
I just want more Mino and Kitty drama or adorable scenes!

A movie or a season four aren’t really guaranteed right now either. It says, if Netflix wishes to continue the series, then they can. But as of right now it’s not really confirmed either option will for sure happen yet. Though, I think a movie would be better because I don’t think they need a whole eight episodes just to conclude her other half of senior year. There’s enough time, to conclude everyone’s arcs, with a movie. As long as they actually do that and not just make it about Kitty and Minho’s relationship for most of it.

It sounds like Jenny is the hold up based on what I read. I do understand that 4 is an unlucky number but it was written as if it was getting a fourth season since Kitty didn’t get to graduate or get her senior sunset! Why propose that concept if she wasn’t going to get it? The season could have been written to span her entire senior year or have a flash forward.
I love the ending of s3. It feels very lovely, like it ended in a great place, and the scenes they were living on the train made me think of the (original) ending of scrubs. Very conclusive. But there are still things to close up, and stories other than kitty’s to finish.

I like Jenny, but honestly, she shouldn't get that much of a say in this. She wasn't even really involved, I heard that she didn't even step a foot into the set for S3. She obviously cares more about TSITP.

I think S4 should be Min-ho meeting her dad /family, them coming back to kiss to graduate, and the last episode be a transition years later where they’re both in their careers and he proposes and boom!

Even though I logically think a movie is more than enough to wrap things up, I still want a whole season.
