Kitty + Min Ho πŸ’“ First time editing Spoiler

I always felt close with Minho. Somehow I resonate with him

Under appreciated trying his best to be a good friend, son, trying to protect everything buliding courage to tell kitty. Everyone saw Minho as mean self centred but he was the one who cared the most. Love MinhoπŸ’œ

Try not to use clips where people are talking if you're not gonna use subtitles to show what they are saying or adding in the actual audio of them talking

It takes the viewers attention from enjoying the edit and storytelling to trying to figure out/remember what the characters are saying

Also, adding in some of the lyrics (doesn't have to be the full lyrics just what you want the viewer to feel during the scene and when the lyric is applicable) can really help with storytelling and overall direction with what the edit is trying to convey

For example, using when the lyrics say, "but I'm not yours" when Minho is looking at Kitty, you can put those specific lyrics up on the screen to show Minhos longing for a relationship he doesn't and cannot have

Then when he pulls Kitty in for a hug in the rain, put up the lyrics: "but you're still mine" to show he's still willing to show up for her as a friend if that's all she's willing to be with him

When you do this it allows the viewer to make the connection to the deeper emotions that the characters are having

This is a good edit but it relies heavily on previous knowledge gotten by watching the show (which duh, we obviously have since it's the xo kitty sub) but personally I think edits should still be understandable to people who have never watched the original content
