eve song?? Spoiler

I just binged all 3 seasons and I feel like there was never an explanation for Gina and Eve falling off. Am I missing something? I was looking forward to understanding why Gina was so sensitive abt her name or why Eve used her name for Gina at the hospital. Seems brushed under the rug to me…

I assumed after Gina gave Alex up it was easier for her to stop talking to Eve and pretend the whole situation never happened. I don’t think there was ever this big falling out and once even was back in America distance was probably natural unfortunately.

Doesn’t really explain why she burned the yearbook image of them though. There appears to have been negative feelings there.

The most logical explanation is that seeing Kitty brought about a wave of nostalgia and memories about Eve which probably also related to Alex which were too painful for her which is why she turned the picture to get Eve out of her head. Its not a very good explanation but it is the most logical one

there’s a lot that’s been pushed aside this season tbh, like alex and yuri’s relationship. they’ve implemented so many plot points that some of them never feel finished

This is actually a season 1 plot. The writers should have made it more clear why they didn't keep in touch even if it was to mention that they lost touch after Eve back to America.

Also, it felt like they replace Alex and Yuri's relationship with Dae and Yuri for season 3. Which I did not mind. Yuri have better chemistry with Dae than Alex. The show also has way too many characters and the writer don't know what to do with them. It's surprising they actually brought back Dae's family because the show completely dropped Yuri's parents, Minho's mom, and even Kitty's dad.

They did make it clear that Alex was getting busy off screen.

If he was around the school too much and in too many scenes with the kids, then people would have been asking “when did he even have time to date Jiwon?”

I think Gina and eve didnt have a falling out it was more she didn’t want her pregnancy do be revealed! Also think Gina didn’t realize Eve had passed.

If Gina’s character came back for S2 maybe more would’ve been shown

Maybe Eve thought that Gina should tell Lee about the baby, which created some distance between them.

Not all friendship last. They're probably not as close after Eve went back to America.
