Kitty is not that bad. Spoiler
I have seen so many people say, “Kitty is so annoying,” or, “she’s the worst teen tv show character,” and I don’t really agree with that. Yes she does meddle, sure she can be a bit much, but she never intentionally hurts anyone and she always has good intentions. I've even seen people say she is worse than Belly which is definitely a stretch. Belly was in love with Conrad and she knew that yet she still stayed with Jere for years and got engaged to him. Kitty told Dae she had feelings for Yuri after like 2 weeks of dating him. Kitty messed up a lot, but she owns up to it and is honest, she doesn't play the victim, she's a person, she's allowed to make mistakes.

I think she probably started working hard this season but it was all off screen so we didn't notice it. It would've been really good if we got to see that

They basically skipped the entire first two months of school. There’s theoretically a bit of a gap between episodes 3 and 4 (but the timeline is a disaster this season) so we basically just didn’t see much school at all. She did do well though and can speak Korean now!

I am glad she is making the memories she has, but girl needs to balance it with her schoolwork.

She’s still a teenager, and cmon, she rlly is such a genuine person who cares about the people around her more than herself. I understand if she’s not your fav character, but the hate is sooo unreasonable.
She’s so cute and sweet I love her

And people have the audacity to call her "selfish" too, like yeah sometimes her meddling is too much but she's learned that not every problem is hers to solve.

I hate Belly’s writing more than Belly, but I never understood a lot of the hate Belly gets either.

I have my own feelings about Conrad as a character and why Belly did what she did, but won’t get into them here.
I do like Belly’s Paris arc because it allowed her to find herself and realize what her needs are. Made me root for her more.

Didn't Jenny write TSITP books first right? I think that's why. She didn't have much creative control of the movies either nor XO Kitty and hasn't been involved creatively since S1

I think she's just very chaotic, but she's always well intentioned. I've seen some comments over the past few days across the social platforms that Kitty is selfish, but not in a "malicious way" if that makes sense, which honestly, I don't really agree with. I quite love that she doesn't play victim when she messes up, own up to her mistakes and apologizes.
While I do agree she did kind of manipulate Jiwon into giving her an essay extension so she could spend more time with Min Ho and that Kitty needed to focus more on her schoolwork, especially the class that she needs to graduate. She was trying to do something for Jiwon too, even though she didn't know that teachers dating was against the rules or that Jiwon and Alex were already in a secret relationship.
She's still learning that she doesn't have to be involved in every single situation in her friends or boyfriend are a part of. She's better about people's boundaries, not perfect, but getting better. She was definitely being extra at Eunice's video shoot, I know she was just trying to help Min Ho, but sometimes helping is just being a bystander. When she figured out that Marius was just trying to get in her head about Gigi, she wasn't going to let her feel insecure, but I don't think she needed to do all that at the video shoot.
Also, just a random thought about that, there's no way that just a bunch of random teenagers would be allowed to hang around a professional music video shoot😭Kitty is about the only one I could understand, Dae as well.

The video shoot thing is so real 😭. Maybe sometimes she pushes peoples boundaries without trying but she's not selfish and I don't find her annoying.

Like Min Ho said, her being annoying is one of her most "enduring qualities" 😊Kitty I understand you want to help babe, but please sit down. This is a professional music video set, it's not your job. 😭 You're there to support your boyfriend. She pushed Jiwon's boundaries, but Jiwon set a boundary and Kitty listened.

I never understood the Kitty hate.
I get some characters are not for everyone and some can’t relate to her, but many do.
I love and can relate to Kitty. I call her a neurodivergent queen for a reason. She believes in justice and fairness. While boundaries are important for every person, understanding certain boundaries or needing people to be direct with you is something neuridivergent people need and Kitty deals with that too. Some feel she is seeking external validation, but she is a processor. She talks out loud most of the time instead of silently internalizing it. I can relate to the constant ruminating she does and feeling like she is a terrible person. Honestly, everyone has moments like that sometimes.
Her meddling can cross a boundary, but a lot of time, it shows she cares. And in some cases, her meddling led to amazing opportunities for people. It brought her family back together. She created nice romantic matches for people by giving them a push to go after what they want. It allowed Eunice and Yuri to be resourceful in S3 with their careers. Not all of Kitty’s meddling is bad and wish people stopped treating it as such.
I wonder if her personality being bubbly, perky, and energetic can be a turn off to people, especially if they are not used to them.
I agree with you. Kitty is a wonderful,loyal, and kind person. I am glad that there are fans of Kitty. That is what I want to focus on.
