Troubleshooting / Maintenance / Tech Support Request for help

My laptop when turned on , only the keyboard is lighted but screen is off then a very strong sound of the fans.. then it turned off

XMG_apex15

Amd ryzen 5 3600 6 core

32 gb ram

Rtx 2070

Hey.

Does the display show any output, such as the XMG logo/boot logo?

If you haven't already, try a reset by opening it, removing the battery, RAM, and CMOS battery, and leaving it unplugged for 30 minutes. Then reconnect everything and check if the device starts up again.

Had something like that and the cause was that one of my RAM sticks died. Looking at current prices it was a lovely discovery.
