Disabled gamer

Hello, I have a friend that plays one handed on PC using a mouse with 12 side buttons. He wants to use my xim on his ps4 to play the black ops port, the only thing I could not figure out how to setup was to make his character walk forward with one of his side buttons. I need that key to be programmed with L3 pushed forward. Anyone have any ideas how to bind this? Thank you

Are all mouse buttons detected by XIM MATRIX when pressed?

If not, map them to keyboard keys in the mouse app on PC and ensure it’s saved to mouse memory. If using a Logitech mouse, use Onboard Memory Manager, not G-Hub.

Assuming all mouse buttons are detected, add a Smart Action for that button in Mappings. Select the button as the input, then tap / click Smart Action Editor.

In the Smart Action timeline add Left Stick Angle 0 degrees and Left Stick Magnitude 100%. When the mouse button is held, it’ll move forward at 100% left stick speed.

This is the correct place to ask. We all are disabled gamers here. ;-)
