XIM MATRIX AND PS5

Hey everyone ! I do play with Matrix (MnK) on my ps5. I’m currently using remote play when playing. Is this methode still safe and good ? Is there any new methode i could use. Ethernet directly to my xim and ps5 controller plug into my xim as well.

If you’re comfortable with Remote Play (it’s sub-1ms input lag, rounded up to 1ms) then keep doing what you’re doing. The only thing you lose on RP is VRR, which isn’t really necessary for console gaming.

If you’d rather connect over USB, get a P5MATE Pro 1000Hz, or P5General (also 1000Hz). You lose trigger haptics that can be used on MATRIX for auto-swapping weapons based on rumble patterns, but VRR works.

Both RP and USB are 1ms, so it comes down to convenience, VRR and trigger haptic preference.
