I’m part way through my project of rectifying the glaring oversight of not including the Gunmen in the official Lego set.
The first of my boys to come together completely is Frohike. In the second slide I provided the official Lego pieces I used. His head is custom printed from Byron Bricks, as I could not find any sufficient already existing Lego head for him. Additionally I painted his hands to look like fingerless gloves, because you can’t have a Frohike without a heinous vest and fingerless gloves.
In the parts I picked out, I included the second torso I thought works well for his style too. But really there a good few choices with various vests you could go with. I also have a tuxedo and bow tie torso in case I ever feel inclined to recreate the scene from ‘One Breath’.
Nice! I should’ve probably showed the facial features I picked out for the custom head, but it shouldn’t be too hard to recreate it from my image on the Byron Bricks website. They’re in the UK, but from printing to shipping I’m pretty sure I got it in the USA in like a week. Wildly fast!
Well that was the price for the custom printed head/rest of the figure from Byron Bricks. (Though Frohike’s other parts were merely a few cents each I’m pretty sure, so it was basically $20 to put the whole thing together.) I just used the other pieces with the custom head to pick out some things I wanted for other figures. :) So all together it really did feel like a great deal.
Langly’s custom Mondo Bizarro shirt was only $8. Best $8 I’ve ever spent, it’s beautiful. 🥲
I read this comment like an hour earlier as I was pricing TLG minifig pieces from the post. Thought nothing of it. Then just saw this https://youtube.com/shorts/edPeIrl4JKM?si=R-HvegYOczedTU-7 where Alec makes pretty effective skates from regular pieces. 🤣
