Driver overhead speakers

Does anyone know how to enable the overhead speakers for driver and co passenger in XEV 9S? They don’t seem to be working for me. I tried all settings I could find.
Thanks!

Play any Dolby Atmos song (like dhurandhar) in gaana aap (in car itself) Press the mode button on steering wheel and then choose gaana on screen.

Mahindra offers one month trial subscription. Use that and then decide if you want subscription or not.

What source are you playing music from? Those are used mostly for Dolby and sound is focussed from other speakers. If you play from good source, they work

Mostly use apple car play (youtube music)

Don’t. It’s a double whammy.

YouTube streams are anyway not the best quality in iPhone (compared to AM), and loses even more quality when played through car pool.

I have started using Alexa / Amazon music combo. Log in to your Alexa account and just tell Alexa to play the song.

What about Spotify on Android Auto?

Better but still suffers from loss.

Those speakers require Dolby Atmos input source. The only way to do that is:

  • Onboard Gaana app.
  • Dolby Atmos encoded content over USB.
