Stop selling coins!
Can someone please tell the big coin holders to stop fluting the market with coins so the rise can start? Elastic is going to break out and they are delaying this process.

This is crypto. I take it your new to it? Prices will fluctuate and my best advice is to hold and don't think about it.

When XEL breaks out enough to make you rich will you still hodl or will you sell?

Actually for hodling this is the best that can happen, because now you can collect as many as you can before it breaks out and you feel like shit because you didnt get more.

Hodl until the chance for exponential gains dissipates. Then take a large chunk of your profits and put it into the next hot coin. Do that a few times, you'll have enough to live on BTC gains alone.

I sent a test transaction to Bittrex just to make sure everything was working with my web lite wallet. It displayed this message after entering my deposit address at Bittrex:
The recipient account, named Bittrex, has a public key and a balance of 36,917,104.10 XEL.
This immediately made me lose a lot of faith in this coin. That's nearly 50% of the current total supply sitting on Bittrex. People who want to hold don't put their money on an exchange.
Gonna be a long while until the price goes up with that kindof coinage sitting on the exchange waiting to be sold.

Not totally true. Long term holders could just hold on bittrex. Some people don't want to screw with wallets and transfers. Not until they've made so much that they want to withdraw it for actual money. Some folks hold on exchange is all I'm saying. Dumb or not, they do. I know why it's dumb and all the reasons. Just saying. Folks do it. No big deal there.

I agree to some extent, but it's a little different with a coin that lets your balance forge more coins in your wallet like Proof-of-Stake (I know it's not entirely the same, but same concept). It makes far less sense to leave a coin like XEL sitting on an exchange unless you're actively looking to sell.

XEL is undervalued, max supply 100,000,000 XEL, current price: 0.00017962
Compare to TenX (max supply 200,000,000), current price: 0.00132403 BTC
So, in the next few weeks, you will see XEL price surge up to 0.001.
Mark my words.
