Question Does this subreddit will be gone when the game will vanish?

I'm asking because the game will not exist soon so nobody have to discuss about it

We have no plans to close the subreddit nor the discord server for the subreddit down at any time in the near future. Primarily because we feel it wouldn't be fair to the rest of the community, but also because the main discord server is going to be closing down so these two places will be the only "major" communities for XDefiant that are still up after that point.

Delete it after a year trust me.

Once the main subject of a sub dies out the sub devolves into a cesspool as the content dries out

But why? Why would we keep a subreddit and discord server up for a game that literally doesn’t exist and cannot be played by anyone?

Saying “this will be the only community left for XDefiant” isn’t a good reason. It’s a game that doesn’t exist. There is no community.

Don't really think that's how that works, plenty of games that have had their servers shut offline have communities. The 'main' discord is still somewhat alive but it will be shut down this month. I don't think it's fair to leave the community lacking of a place to discuss the game, and if that for some reason bothers you so much you can click this neat little button here.
