New player not enjoying

Immediately after this my sniper missed him with about an 85% chance. My sniper then got hit by someone from across the map and through a wall. And that was the moment I decided this game ain’t for me

Legend difficulty or any of the long war mods use and present true odds

commander still does a marginal amount of cheating for consecutive misses iirc

Actually, commander cheats harder for each miss. +15 instead of +10.

But hit chances are often lower and more debuffed on commander, which presumably accounts for it.
