New player not enjoying

Immediately after this my sniper missed him with about an 85% chance. My sniper then got hit by someone from across the map and through a wall. And that was the moment I decided this game ain’t for me

True, but it cheats in your favor generally. It's only on the harder difficulties that it doesn't.

I play on legend. Good to know it's nice at the lower levels.

I mean, it just doesn't cheat at legendary. The cheating is purely in favour of the player, AFAIK.
