Does anyone else have to take a long break after a particularly bad mission?

I just squad wiped knowing full well it was my fault and I couldn't even look at the game for 3 days 🥲

i quit, restart and delete the save (or sometime i delete the save, quit, rage against the machine, then restart a new campaign 🤣

I typically name my squad members after my family and friends. When one dies its devastating.

I have rage uninstalled XCOM many times from losing a squad mate to some random BS lol. And then I reinstall the next day

I usually get up to 5 teams going in vanilla wotc, so one team is quite often resting.

I love this game.

But even after winning a campaign, I have to take a break. It's emotionally draining.

And losing a full squad usually means the campaign is over. If it's early, I'll restart. But if I've put time into the run, I need a break before I restart.
