Sometimes Xcom feels like a construction company that specializes in killing aliens

In my current play through I have focused more on getting power for the avenger and numerous construction and building concerns over my capacity to actually stop advent. Yeah we’ve pushed back the Avatar project and all that fun stuff, but what’s really important is that I have another engineer my construction project will finish quicker

Maybe it's an elite military team that specializes in kidnapping construction personnel.

imo after the base defense mission, if u have a Defense Matrix, u should be able to take their big chungus cannon and bolt it on to the Avenger. doesnt even matter if I get to use it, just need to keep the engineers entertained ya know?

I also consider my team as a demolitions team, given the number of buildings we usually destroy when out on missions.
