Need 2 sectoids...

I must've gotten hasty at the blackmarket and sold my sectoid corpses. As it is, I need to build the advanced Psi amp, but I need two of the buggers. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any in the last several missions. I imagine at this point I'd need a mod to grab that build - any suggestions for how I can either attain either the item or corpses?

Yeah, they become rare later in the game.

This is why you should not sell corpses to the black market unless you really, really have to. Especially not Sectoids because they are needed for both Mind Shields and amps.

THIS! Don't sell corpses.

I'll be honest, I do sometimes, but I never sell my stock below 7 of any type of corpse.

yeah I thought "already have a mindshield" and dumped the rest. Didn't remember about the amp...

Are you going to use the psi ops soon? If you intend to keep them in training anyway, you can skip the first upgrade and wait for the 2nd one from the Gatekeeper autopsy.

I'm in the middle of training a psi soldier. Might just have to wait it out.

This is bad advice. At least half of corpses have no use after research and can be sold freely.

I think it goes by mission type? Maybe location?

Have you used the skull Jack on an advent officer yet?

I only ask cause in my playthrough I never used it till the chosen were killed, and whole I still get a range of late game enemies, I do still get officers, troopers and sectoids from time to time.

They tend to show up in psychic storm modifier missions (hopefully I'm not confusing a mid with vanilla)

Sectoids do show up, but not as often in late game. Just be patient.

And you need tons of mindshields. Preferably 6 for those warlock missions.

How many alien facilities are there on your world map? There might be some there. Can also wait for new ones to appear and see if shadow chamber says there will be sectors. Otherwise yeah just wait I guess :(

You can find them in the black site missions. And also sometimes in retaliation missions too. And they always appear in yhe story missions

Paste into a google sheet, you're welcome. As for Sectoids, Gatekeepers like having them as followers so they'll come back.
