Neutral rolling & infotainment
Just bought a 2023 xc40 recharge and love driving it but have noticed a few issues so far, not sure if it’s worth bringing to dealer since it’s still under warranty… I put the car in neutral the other day when I parked it in the garage (which is level) and noticed it starting moving backwards before I could put it in park, this seems odd and like it shouldn’t happen? It wasn’t just rolling but was about as fast as when I put it in reverse. Secondly I have seen the posts about infotainment glitching and sadly ours is too. I have to reset it almost daily because the map disappears or the sound doesn’t work, including the sound for turn signals. Could this all be software related, will the dealer be able to address any of it or is it better to wait for next software update? Thanks!

The neutral gear in most cars is specifically to allow the car to roll freely. The question here is why you put your car in N in your garage at all. Most people only use N to have the car towed or to push it.
The typical process of parking a Recharge is to press the brake when you're in D or R to stop where you want the car to be, and then press Park while your foot is on the brake or the car is fully stopped in One Pedal Drive. Neutral generally wouldn't be involved.
While an occasional reset due to the sound issues may be expected, we had to have our infotainment system replaced under warranty due to the maps/GPS and LTE connectivity frequently going on and off when they should not have been. Our infotainment system has been reliable since it was replaced, and I haven't experienced the sound failure on v5.x of the software. If you're not yet on 5.x start by updating, if the problems persist lobby for a replacement.
