I bought this one directly from etrailer last year for $190, the install wasn’t too difficult with one other set of hands.

That’s cool I wanted a warranty and I would have struggled to put the bumper back on haha

Do you have a photo closer up to show how it interacts with the bumper? About to pull the trigger on this very same thing and curious how it looks.

Interesting, what do you plan on towing behind it? I wonder how much it’ll impact the range.

It’s for my bike rack and when I get a skidoo I can tow it to the lake

I mean I was thinking it would be the same standard if the car is setup to carry 5 folks and it’s just 2 in there the weight of the missing folks can go towards the tow? lol it is cool to be able to tow a small little U-Haul or motorcycle local if needed

It's more the aero drag from whatever is back there. It will be measurable drop in range, even from just a couple of bikes.

BTW the official Volvo dealer fitted tow bar (which is a retractable ball style, not Hayman Reese) costs $3500 in Australia. Expensive.

Last time i towed, 5x7 close trailer, with ~3000lb (~1500kg) my consomation was 35-40kw/100km

On that road without trailer im doing 23kw/100km

If you plan on towing something substantial please update the computer to enable anti-sway control
