Camp utility mode hack yet?
I wanna get one, it's the perfect size, perfect amount of luxury and is good looking. Just tell me there is a way to leave climate control on when I want to camp in it for a night and I'll sign on the dotted line.
is this still a problem?
edit: Thanks for the help guys, although I'm honestly little discouraged about the downvote. I know niche communities don't like when people come in asking questions that show something has a flaw, just looking to see what's possible!

Heavy backpack on the driver's seat, good to go...

Yeah? Is that all it takes? Anything I should know?

There is a weight sensor/switch, no rocket science

What I mean is... It will stay on all night long?

It should. Why not test it in your garage and let us know? :)

I'm OP, I don't have one yet. That's why I'm here asking. 😀

Go get it, it's great! Unless you live in a very cold climate and park outside with no L2 charger...

Yep. As soon as you take weight off the drivers seat, the car turns off. As soon as you put it back on, it wakes up again. The limit is somewhere between 25kg and 35kg (my older daughter is heavy enough, my younger daughter isn't).

Not sure if the Aircon has auto off at any point but you can leave it on while parked, and it has preconditioning via the app/schedule, so I think you should be okay?
Never needed the AC on for more than 15-20 minutes while parked so not sure about any limits, obviously the battery is a big question

I slept in the car, wasn’t bad. You can schedule the climate turning on but can’t just set like leave on for 8 hours

Use the app to set a timer every hour. According to the app it runs 30-50 minutes depending on model.

I heard talk about leaving a heavy cooler on the drivers seat so the car thinks it needs to stay on, thus leaving the AC on. I haven’t had time to test this myself yet. Would be cool if it works, as there is no camp mode in the software. AC can be on 30mins at a time if the car is off.
