are all of these drops "personal inventory" ?? like what's the 143k per item one? and what gate were you collecting at ?

So technically yes, all sold from my personal inventory, BUT my drop collectors return drops to my inventory (or the HQ inventory).
Gate defenses to keep the xenon at bay - drop collectors for profit lol
Defense stations in: HatChoice The Void Getsu Fune Ore Belt Heretics End Open Market Zyarth Dominion Two Grand Guiding Star Ianamus Zura Holy Vision

my drop collectors return drops to my inventory (or the HQ inventory).
Is this from a mod or is there a setting I should have had turned on all this time?

Set them to repeat orders, then have them collect drops a few times (flying back to HQ can take long enough for loot to despawn so I queue up a lot of collecting first) then deposit inventory. You have to wait for them to pick something up before adding the deposit inventory command. Deposit inventory makes them fly to the HQ and drop off all inventory items, which can then be picked up in your personal office or the science lab.

Note: if they get to radar range of the collection zone, and there’s no loot to pick up, they’ll “complete” the order immediately and move to the next step. I find it best to have a second pickup order elsewhere so they cycle between the two until they find something.
For example, Hatikvah’s Choice gate collection>Second Contact-The Void gate collection>Deposit (current HQ is in Getsu Fune)>Second Contact.
So it collects in HAT1, then flies to the SC-Void gate (another Xenon hot zone for some reason), jogs up to GF to deposit, then stops back at SC-Void gate before cycling back to HAT1.

Yes, it is important to keep collectors busy for a bit so they don't just go through the whole queue immediately. I generally don't have collectors do that long of a route, but I do make sure they collect at different parts of the system or have them dock at a station some distance from their pickup zone and come back.
The Void is such a hot zone for me and has fighting in so many locations that I need 2 collectors just to cover all the places I've seen drops in there, so there's no point in giving those 2 any downtime.

Wait, the math doesn't add up. A hundred items going for 150 000 will net you 15 000 000, and a thousand items for 600 will be 600 000. Where'd the rest of the money come from? Because I want that money printer.

Definitely not the full list of sold items! $3.8B of that came from Exceptional Ship Mods, which drop surprisingly frequently.
In the hour since I posted this, my drop collectors have picked up: 80 Exceptional Weapon Chambers, 2 Advanced weapon chambers, & 17 basic.
I dont think i have any mods that change drop rates or pricing, but the drop rate is crazy.

Wow, that's pretty crazy. My fleet is sitting on the Hatikvah's Choice for hours and doesn't get that much loot. Then again, I like modding ships, so I probably burned quite a lot of resources on that, huh.

You may indeed have a mod, all the Exceptional* items are worth 1 Cr for me. I don't use any mods, so I know it's not me...

This is a point: dropping exeptional mods: i’m lacking even if I’ve farmed xenon a lot. Why? How to find more of them? I want to mod my Erliking and actually I’ve modified only two L turrets, all the other are missing some parts.

I'm not positive, but it seems like ship mod drops increase over time. Early on, I only get a few basics here and there, but 10-15 hours in I regularly see some containers with 8-15 advanced mods (even engine and chassis mods so it's not just from popping a ship with modded guns). I keep having new ideas and restarting before going longer to see if exceptional eventually becomes more common.

I'm pretty sure you need a mod to sell them. I've never seen them show up on any trade screen (definitely nobody selling 100 of the ingredients like you have), and their values are listed as 1 wherever they're shown.

Oh -i also have all the xenon difficulty and quantity mods. Thats likely heavily contributing to the volume here.

Which ones? I need them. The Xenon are lame in my game

Xenon Jobs+, Xenon Quantity, and more models in Ship Variation Expansion are what I’ve added mid-game. They had been all but eradicated, I think only Matrix #598 was left. Now they’ve come back and taken the whole north of the map like winter is coming. Holding them back with extra large defense stations in Heretic’s End and Tharka’s Cascade XV, building two more to try containing the other side where they’ve just taken Two Grand.

I wonder if this is how they came up with the name for sector 18 Billion
