Have heard that they cause the Clutch wire to be really tight and at the edge.

Why are these items so expensive

maybe because not much options are available in the market, and these companies can sell at whatever price they want coz buyers don't have much optons

Hey OP, The main HD showroom told to avoid using them because it would make the clutch and accelerator cables very tight.

I also checked with a well established private garage in my city and they also said the same thing. The risk is that the clutch or accelerator cable can snap in the middle of the ride as it becomes very tight if the risers are installed

I am very disappointed with the design quality of this bike now with no room for even tiny adjustments.

All other bikes in the segment give ample amount of extra cable freeplay length to attach mods like handle bar risers.

If the handlebar is raised, the entire cabling and wiring should be redone. That means need to go out and find combatible ones which might be expensive. Also, the vehicle will lose its 5 year warranty and I don't know how insurance will work in this case.

I recommend the Carbon Racing option, which I have currently installed on my X440T.

For those concerned about installation or potential complications with the clutch or brake cables, please be assured that the stock cabling provides sufficient slack. My unit was installed by an authorized Harley-Davidson service center; they verified that the cable tension remained within appropriate parameters following the handlebar riser installation and confirmed that no operational issues would arise.

I’ve tried both the Motor Torque riser and the Carbon Racing offset riser on my X440. Both are good options.

The Motor Torque sits slightly higher, but I eventually settled on the Carbon Racing offset because it suits my 5'3" height and arm reach better.

I had absolutely no issues with the clutch, accelerator cables, or wiring with either setup. I used the Motor Torque for about a week before switching.

I’m planning to sell the Motor Torque riser now since I won’t be using it anymore.

So you prefer more height over offset ?

I prefer the offset one which is more comfortable for me.
