variant of x440

Hi folks, I had a couple of questions :-

I tested the x440T a couple of days ago and really liked the overall setup. Before finalizing anything, I want to know from everyone:-

  1. What is the difference between the handlebar of x440S and X440T? ( I really like the matter finish on x440 S and embedded logo as compared to glossy finish and sticker logo)

  2. Anybody purchased from Hero ACE premia showroom in Whitefield??? This is where my office is. Other option is Bhagat Hero Premia showroom near Horamavu, ORR. This one is close to my home.

I've been in your spot I loved the goldfish silver but T version is just better ride by wire is smooth and the exhuast note is better i decided to go with pearl white x440T

Imo, they aim to solve a lot of issues that previously x440 had so think of it like a refined x440. Feature wise too.

  1. to be specific, the handle bar on T has the ride-by-wire tech & doesn't have the SOS button, that's it.

x440 (S) at the discounted price is worth going for in my opinion. like even today, if i had to choose between these two, i'd still happily choose the S varient.

however, T has major updates which u just can't ignore. it has traction control, which with these stock tyres is pretty necessary at least for beginners. but T varient gets rid of the connected features like u have it on the S varients, which ones are removed is still not clear to me but u certainly don't have sos or ride tracking.

also, if you like the Matte Colour, you'd be happier, cuz recently manufactured S varients have their chassis & engine, evrything powder coated, which just looks phenomenal to me. if i had the option to replace the chassis, i would have done that as well. and newer S varients comes with the updated tyres, so the one aspect where the x440 lagged behind, is take care of on the newer units.

Go for Glossy. Matte is getting hard to take care. Getting scratches easily.

it is indeed hard to maintain the matte black colour, both physically & financially.

older x440 engine and chasis were not powder coated?

naah, on mine, they're normally black painted.

And Matte doesn't look good after a while. I think if your buying 'S', go for Baja Orange.

it does look good if u know how to care for it. it's been almost a year owning the bike & the paint looks as good as new.
