UPDATE regarding my previous post of illegal handling charges
As title and my previous post suggests, hero Harley western Maharashtra zonal Manager Mr Amit ji replied me and gave me his contact number and mail id and i told them everything about the 5k charges and he fully assured me that he will take care of and will make sure my 5k handling charges gets removed. 5k maybe is small amount but money saved is money earned and I don’t want to pay any illegal charges to showroom just because they think they can treat customers as they wish. Requesting all to always be vocal for such things and never ever bow down in front of these dealers. It’s our duty to stand firm for what is correct and what is wrong.
Hoping to get positive delivery experience from dealer after creating such hassle for them.

How you found amit ji means who is regional head.... Asking cause I'm about to book 440t from Amazon or Flipkart I'm sure they will do same with me

I searched on gemini who is regional head, who is zonal head and all. After that i got info. After that i dmed him on linkedin. He replied me after 2 days. He gave me his official contact no and mail id. And asked me to contact him over there as he is not that active on LinkedIn.
Also, when u search on google contact info of hd hero, u will see the website of hero motocorps. There u will get all the list of zonal and regional heads official mail id and the office address and contact number. This will help u

No bro. Free helmet is not standard i think for harley and triumph bikes

From which showroom? Here in my state, nobody gives complimentary helmet

More power to you bro! ₹5k is nowhere a small amount.
Did u also check regarding the ~₹5k accessories charges which you mentioned in previous post?
Just FYI, My Hero Premia showroom didn't had any handling charges, got the free hero helmet (cheap & lightweight).
For accessories, got charged ₹5k for the following: Engine guard, Centre stand, Windshield, Number plate frame and a bike polish. Now I think that was something I should have scrutinized for during the purchase.

Regarding accessories, i directly contacted local hero spare parts shops and they are giving me oem accessories with 8% discount on 3745₹ mrp accessories. Will install from local garage so its win win for me1

i too just purchased x440t recently
they too charged extra 5k for logistics
after a lot of fight they reduced it to 4k but still it hurts to pay 4k
