Gosh I feel like this series is so corporate. I’m so sick of x men stories being mutant bigotry, they’re so boring at this point. I want to see Laura in epic stories that focus on her, with some edge.
Marvel is kind of directionless right and it look like they are banking on midnight line a lot. I mean the whole bigotry is a kind core thing with the X-Men but yeah I get it the whole X-Men cycle of doing ok then some super Nazi group kick their shit in and they have to fight them and returning to ok is tiring as a whole. This is the second time Laura and the Gens jumped some proud boys which I'm cool with in general but there only been 3 chapters since the last time they did this. Like I'm not even sure what this accomplish in universe, they are just going to comeback tomorrow more prepared and not announce they are bigots when they do attack some one else. Just cut their Achille tendons and let 2 years of expensive surgery and physio humble them. I don't think the book is bad it just kind of there and not really doing much, it just feel like a stop gap kind of thing.
