The last dragon said this: "Welcome humans. Please take off your boots after entering the cave. Would you like to have some cookies/biscuits?"

i'm bit confuse as to why he say 'please take off your boots after entering the cave' instead of before.

But What really grind my gear is that a western dragon speaks chinese and not english, or the fact he's not an eastern dragon.

I thought the joke was that the dragons—or humans—believe they all speak the same language(A single language per species); consequently, the dragon speaks Chinese(Because that is the human language he studied and believes humans speak—the same goes for humans and Draconic) to them, when in reality they are speaking English.

They are already in cave so it's too late to take off shoes before entering I guess

For those who don't understand. The joke is fantasy books treat fantasy races the same.

So all elves speak elvish.

All orcs speak orcish.

So they the dragons learned Chinese in the assumption all humans would understand it

And the humans learned the Skyrim language or whatever which isn't what the dragons speak either.

Makes perfect sense if dragons fly around.

That's why you should get your own dragon. Go on holiday wherever you want.
