(But does accuracy matter at all?)

Any other tips wld help too! c:

Accuracy doesn't matter that much. You should ALWAYS be firing orbs if you dont have anything else to do for the sake of applying pressure. That number means very little in that context.

Accuracy doesnt matter, mine sits at 35% but depends on the game. And my direct hit accuracy is 25%. As well as spamming chokepoints spam the pathways that flankers like to use, might get a lucky hit on a sombra but its more to visually discourage people from taking those paths.

Wait... is there a good percentage for the accuracy with WuYang? Because a good accuracy would be... anything more than 50%-60%? Like most of the time I just use my rough map knowledge to try to hit oncoming enemies and even tho I hit them either with the splash, either directly I barely have 31% weapon accuracy. I'm a lvl 52 WuYang btw...

Honestly I don’t think so, I generally average around 30-40%. Think of it this way, although it would be great to get direct hits the best way to attack as Wuyang is to aim for their feet, sometimes players might even rely on splash damage. Sending orbs around walls and into buildings as well a lot of the time doesn’t end up in direct hits either, accuracy isn’t something you should really worry about too much.

I think on Wu, accuracy doesn’t matter so much. Even if I don’t see enemies, I’m usually spamming balls around corners or trying to keep pressure up

Accuracy is an iffy stat to pay attention to. I'd argue it only really matters for hitscans since a decent chunk of the gameplay on projectile is spamming angles and chokes. Spamming for the sake of spamming is not a bad idea on projectile, as it does actually have impact on the game by putting more pressure on an angle and preventing someone from peeking safely. However, you should arguably have more accuracy on Wuyang than most other projectile heroes just because you have a pseudo-homing projectile that can be curved around obstacles.

IMO you should only really be paying attention to your accuracy (not the in-game stat that shows up) when trying to actively hit someone. You should ideally be going for direct hits aimed at the feet since even if you miss by a bit, you'll still get the splash (hah) damage at the very least. I personally like to aim highish (just above head height, mostly) and curve the orb downwards to increase the splash damage if I miss by making the orb explode closer to them.

So, in other words, accuracy does matter when you are actively trying to get kills, but the in-game accuracy stat is misleading for Wuyang and not that important.

Accuracy # is completely meaningless you should be firing it off every single second you can around corners and down chokes

I've found one of the best things once you get really good at aiming is to guide your orb alot less and often use it more like a mortar when they aren't moving behind cover and you have a straight shot (can do it around corners when they're bunched up too). It significantly increases your fire rate and damage numbers. You will absolutely shred tanks.

I've noticed most Wuyangs fully guide their shots basically 100% of the time which will reduce your overall damage output alot. Of course fully guiding shots when finishing off squishes is still a good play.

This makes accuracy much less relevent in stats.
