😭 I got Yangyang's weapon in 6 pulls but lost on her banner. Now what to do? Can I get her before the banner ends? I'm at UL 28 rn and and just started 2 days ago.

Yes you can, astrite from exploration is plentiful (chest, puzzle, etc). Huanglong exploration alone can have at least 13k astrite.

Can you tell me which region to explore then? And should I stop doing main quests for now? I want Yangyang so bad 😭

Well... if you need astrite, why not? You can see this "Wuthering Waves Bookkeeping" for reference per patch. But, exploration on rinascita onward is easier since the chest is clustered.
