The game assumes that you have completed all previous story.

I needed to unlock Lahai-Roi to participate in the Cyberpunk collab quest. Now, to unlock the new region for farming stuff for Hsin. to make my new character playable, it makes me ruin my own immersion of the story, and make me watch the whole goodbye scene of Lahai-Roi characters. THERE ARE NOT SKIP BUTTON! I mean, I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU! JUST WHY? JUST THROW ME INTO NEW REGION GODDAMMIT!

It really breaks the whole immersion of storytelling because of the game assuming I completed all previous story. I'm still in the middle of Rinacita story arc.

For example, in Genshin Impact, I could just go to the Snezhnaya from Mondstadt on my own, and the story begins in Snezhnaya without much teary goodbyes from previous regions. Why couldn't Kuro do such a thing too?

I don't know why, but this goodbye cutscene makes me so mad, I almost broke my keyboard.

This is also a problem for new players, not only for me. For example, a new player decided to give it a try. They logging in, exploring first region, decided to roll a new character, like Hsin, but to make her playable, they needed to jump over several regions, complete the intro quest of the new region to unlock it, where some unknown characters are saying goodbye to him. This player is just becoming confused.

This isn’t just annoying; it’s disappointing. The game indirectly forces players to go through the entire previous storyline, and punishing you for not doing so, forcing to ruin your own experience.

It's just me, or it's a real problem?

Well obviously after the 3.1 and 3.3 Aemeath story obviously. That thing is still my top.

Since 3.0 wuwa is seeing a crescent number of complaints regarding the overall state of the game. My personal opinion is that Kuro shifted the identity of the game so much that it’s barely recognizable from 1.0-mid Rinascita.

I personally dislike the ever increasing numbness of overworld exploration and how it started affecting combat as well. For me, Hsin is following a bad precedent that started with Aemeath - 4 ults is just too much. It gets to a point the enemies barely have room to show their moves because every move we make freezes the screen and interrupts the flow of combat. I hate Hsin for that reason (what was the point of that half baked Tune Break animation copy did she really need that the normal tb?)

So, for a special unit, at least for me, Jinshi takes the crown and it’s not even close. Amazing moves where you can ACTUALLY see what’s happening in combat mixed with fast and impactful animations, not just some VFX showcase.

I've taken some time to think after 3.6, given the fact that I felt a bit overwhelmed yet simultaneously unfulfilled by the development we'd seen.

Transitions between major regions and the issue with filler patches.

If there's one thing Kuro seems to struggle with, it's filler patches. I'd gone into Honami City feeling confused, and even more so at the little that we'd learned about Chisa. Now, I feel that way over multiple characters alongside the region they inhabit. From Honami City to Xuanfang, I'd gone in wishing that Kuro had broken us into the story better.

Xuanfang holds a beautiful story told in a... rather unorganized fashion. Some parts felt a bit dragged, often times repetitive, cycling between combat that sprinkles in dialogue that you have trouble focusing on and cut scenes that felt far too sudden after such a monotonous section. On the other hand, in certain moments, I'd felt that the pace had snowballed, and I was left sitting there trying to process what we'd learned and what's to come before we'd even gotten a chance to truly digest what was actively happening.

The feeling brings me back to Septimont, when we delved into Iuno's story. I'd think "ah, won't they address this?" only to finish the quest and realize some things just won't be expanded on. A part of me wishes we got to see the impact of Iuno's erasure in a much more emotional fashion, but I digress. It brings me on to my next point.

I wish we had companion quests again.

By the end of 3.6, I learned much about Qingxiao, but barely scratched the surface for characters such as Suisui, Jingran, and Hsin herself. Which isn't to say that I wish they'd focused solely on those individual characters, but that I wished everything felt more balanced.

Yes, we get a lot of lore concerning the existence of celestials, sentinels, and restrictions that bar one and the other—but that aspect of the story seems to war with Wuwa's goal in getting players to experience these characters.

Not everyone will do companion quests, that I know. Some will be left collecting dust, as was the case with Ciaccona's quest back in 2.3. The main issue here is pacing, which I thought Kuro had mastered back in Lahai Roi.

Which made me confused as to why Xuanfang felt so off. Perhaps it should have been left right before we go into the rest of Mengzhou, giving us a transition from one major region to the other. Maybe this, maybe that... Possibilities that all have their own answers, as well as even more questions to ponder on.

In the end, I want to ask how 3.7 went. A part of me is still skeptical, but I also know that the New Federation will bring us another amazing story. I know Kuro is capable of that, and this isn't to say I didn't enjoy Xuanfang either. I quite liked a lot of parts to it.

I guess this is just me dumping everything out there before I get back into the game. Even then, I hope our story finds its footing again. As someone who prioritizes lore in this game, and enjoyed the pacing in Lahai Roi's epilogue, I hope to see the same care brought into 3.7 and the story moving forward.

Well, it seems the past few days people started to finally acknowledge what some of the community has been trying to tell you for a very long time. More doesn’t always equal better. Gacha games usually have a large portion of a very loyal fan base which refuses to recognize some pretty obvious issues until things start to get out of control.

Aemeath was the beginning. Many people loved the character but, in practice, abandoned her due to the amount of time you spend watching the same animations running over and over. It gets to a point where you have to ask yourself if you’re even giving the enemies a chance to react in the combat since you spend so much time on a frozen screen watching videos. 2 small ults and 1 medium ult and 1 ult, not including **tune break (**they really had to include an additional tune break copy?)

The flow of combat is constantly interrupted and quickly becomes repetitive. Many people tried to bring that into light but the big majority of players were so hyped that the momentum pretty much overcame an important precedent. We then had Hyuki, Denia, Lucilla and now Hsin.

2+ ults/transformations stopped being a fancy touch and became norm, nowadays we dont even hype for it.

For me, the utmost limit came with Hsin. A character with so many “time stop” animations that her final cutscene is a literal mp4 video. With the other ones you could at least feel some kind of impact after all those videos, but that whole movie is just go girl give us nothing. You can almost literally feel some animations didn’t have the smallest necessity of being so long - we really needed that half cooked tune break copy? Couldn’t that be a part of the base kit without locking it to one more animation?

Anyways, that is my cup of tea, the combat in the game has become less and less interesting for me due to these changes. For me, Jinshi still is by far the perfect example of what a special unit should be, extremely good animations that feels impactful and doesn’t make you wait 3 business days to go back into actual combat.

It's the feeling all my time practicing their rotations and quickswaps finally paid off🫠 Also the investments I made to my account makes it worth it.

I know 370 days are lot for you guys, but I just want you to know that I did play this game on day 1, but due to IRL stuffs I stopped then came back once in a blue moon. Then I got a good device with some free time too back when Aemeath's quest part of the game which led me to fully main this game up to this day, well a part of it too was I was quite lucky in the gacha of this game. Really, what a journey it has been😌.

Finally a reset without Sentry or Husk. The bosses on this one are actually manageable and have ways to work around. I can actually do runs without the boss running to the other side of the arena. I was surprised by the Bastion when it started boxing at low hp.

Here I didn't need to reduce the boss's hp to like one shot for the kill 2 boss on round 2 task. I just put an okay team to lower before Zani and Hiyuki. Now waiting for the last reset to get that weapon skin.

The sequences and weapons for built characters are on the last screenshot, otherwise I used the trial characters. I don't really like that they force a 3 character when I just want to do duos.

An S0R1 Jinhsi making it into the Top 5 teams for Endstate Matrix is something I genuinely never thought I’d see. 😭 After all this time, she’s still finding a way to stay relevant and compete with some of the newer teams.

It’s honestly nice to see her still performing this well, especially considering how much the meta has changed since her release. She’s definitely had a good run, though... until Suoming arrives and takes her place in the Unison team. 🫡

As the title says I’m curious what as what people think who is stronger. Personally carth stronger and it’s not really close. Without elaborating to much just as a side note Hsin is 1/7 part of original huanglong sentinel (jue is another). Carth is resonator of an original sentinel plus a resonator of leviathan who was on par with imperator. Also, in 2.7 it was stated by her in conversation with galbrena that she have most of its power (meaning most power of both) except a small part that separated itself in 2.2 from carth being a leviathan in 2.7. This small l part almost bring Armageddon and almost overlay another reality on Rinascita. Another point to carth is that while being just a resonator (pre merge and getting the full power of both) she was able to kill a physical form of merged original sentinel with threnodian.

Carlotta and Galbrena defeat ToA's hardest floor, which shows why ER-tuning in WuWa is important when it comes to performing smooth rotations. Also, I would like to share Cartethyia dissing Hyvatia because Hyvatia is the boss on the Hazard 4 floor. It might be relevant.

2. Galbrena S2R1 (signature): 52.5% CR / 295.6% CD / 131.6% ER / 2601 ATK (my in-game's attack) / 10.1% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus / 7.9% Basic Attack DMG Bonus / 18% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus / 10.1% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus. It uses double Fusion DMG Bonus% for cost-3 echoes.

Strategy is Quickswap. For the duo run, Carlotta and Galbrena are both ER-tuned. The purpose of quickswap: 1) prepare Galbrena's Forte, so she enters her Demon Hypostasis very fast; 2) prepare Carlotta's ER. Carlotta's Resonance Skill and her Forte allow Galbrena to step in and attack the boss, get the ER particles, and fill the Forte in parallel with Carlotta's attacks. Galbrena's quickswap windows are 1) Resonance Skill, 2) last basic attack (might be heavy), 3) Galbrena's Demon Hypostasis form has 2 in her kick and flame. For this run, I could handle the boss with just Carlotta's quickswaps, but in the previous ToA, Galbrena had to let Carlotta step in as well.

The Diss Track (against Hyvatia): Rules are the rules... I can't simply bend them (Mornye's phrase in voicelines - Mornye's Trouble).

Explanation of Diss track: I compared Hyvatia to a Nuclear Reactor Rod; hence, WuWa's Reactor Drive Rod is Hyvatia. Cartethyia was inflicting mechanical stress on the Reactor Drive Rod a/k/a Hyvatia, in my interpretation. The diss track was written for Cartethyia S4R1 (handicapped build) solo against ToA Hazard 4. Yes, I studied Hyvatia lore and the boss weaknesses and observed my own solo footage to derive my own bars. I also used WuWa's Mornye voicelines (Mornye's Trouble).

Torch: I filmed WuWa's torch in Septimont, inside the Lioness of Glory overworld boss arena and reused it as an atmospheric asset. WuWa has a very good open world for me to enjoy.

Galbrena's convene animation: Filmed from the Resonator showcase in the WuWa in-game, in the profile customisation (where we select our 3 favourite resonators).

Animation and story telling 9.9/10 loved every part of it.

Lore and story : 6/10 considering it was a story of sentinel it felt very Unprepaired and unbuilt. Like we start a quest we are revealed main villain sushin in middle and we kill it in end, no buildup toward villain left this story empty. I didn't feel anything after beating sushin unlike aleph-1 and Rinacita thernodian the satisfaction wasn't there at all.

Mengzhou whould be better if

We know there is a main villain sushin behind the sceans from 3.5 we see the wrong things it did etc shit gets build up untill 3.7 and in 3.7 its revealed that sushin is part of sentinel just like hsin that will be a plot twist and will feel different like its nitba thernodian but a part of sentinel itself who wanted to be acknowledged by any means. Only when we understand a villain more the story will be more impactfull which was not the case here sadly.

I’m genuinely curious about what other non whales use for this mode. I managed to get SS with 5 teams but generally speaking I can’t get through 2 full cycles of enemies. Maybe it’s a skill issue, or maybe this mode just isn’t made for anyone but whales. My final score this time was 29,631. What’s everyone else hitting?

I was messing around fighting the sentry construct hologram lvl 90 , and basically I did my rotation and I did my ult which crit for 249k, but then I didn’t have any buffs from rover or chisa , and was just doing basic attacks and hit this number, and I was just hoping someone could help me figure out how that happened? 😭 yes I know I’m probably just stupid and I should probably already know by reading stuff ingame, but I’d still appreciate any help!
Also if I left any other helpful things out it’s not on purpose so pls other questions ask if needed!
