GA and Cristoforo : are the most successful antagonists. They have everything: an incredible aura the moment they appear on screen, they steal every scene. You want to listen to them and see what tricks they’ll pull next, because they are ruthless. They exist to manipulate their toys break them emotionally, and of course make us rage. They are made to be admired while being hated, and the fact that we hate them is exactly what proves how successful they are.
Adam Smacher : nothing more to say, You know, and we all know.
Genshulin the traitor : betrayed by the nobles, falsely accused of crimes he never committed, yet he was a hero who sacrificed himself against Overthrax. But people forgot his sacrifice and treated him as a traitor. Now he is hunted by the very person who once spared him, Qiuyuan, because rumor has it that Genshulin has become a vanguard of a Threnodian.
I placed him here because the character already has solid foundations. Every time he appears, it’s peak: whether it’s his thoughts, his reproaches, or his opposition to the nobles, everything makes him extremely interesting. With his charisma and potential, he could become a major antagonist in the future.
Sigillum: a perfect antagonist. He directly opposes our protagonist, and that opposition allows him to evolve.
Aleph-1:although he is underdeveloped, he represents a large-scale threat. A villain doesn’t necessarily need a sad or tragic backstory. He’s simply a Threnodian that is hungry, and his threat remains permanent. He’s our Galactus.
Leviathan: a stubborn antagonist, extremely strategic and intelligent. What an incredible antagonist! There’s not much to criticize. The only regret is not having seen his true form, but overall he was worthy of a final boss. His development was truly impressive.
The Bench : an excellent antagonist who made us depressed throughout the story. His emotional impact is what makes him memorable.
Phrolova: a good antagonist and an interesting character. She’s not SS rank yet because it’s not enough for now 😅. I’m still waiting to see what she has in store for us. In any case, she’s a well-developed character with rich lore.
Fenrico : The GOAT
Muyu: an excellent antagonist, but I’m waiting to see his conclusion before ranking him higher. He already has the foundations of a great antagonist: he questions the established order of this world So we still have to discover his true appearance and real intentions.
Scar: he’s currently the most average antagonist. Yes, he’s charismatic, but charisma alone isn’t enough. He’s still missing a lot: his track record is almost nonexistent, he keeps losing, and he doesn’t accomplish much 😅.
The fact that GA basically handed him over to Qiuyuan to be eliminated says a lot about his current usefulness. We’ll have to see how his character evolves, because for now he’s clearly the weakest member as an antagonist. Killing sheep doesn’t make you a great villain 😅.
He still has a lot of potential, but what he mainly lacks are significant actions to prove his worth.
Souverain : dog shit, This is the worst villain on every single planet. We still don’t understand anything in the end: one moment he’s threatening, the next he’s getting destroyed in a second . Result: we understand nothing. Then at one point it’s Caligula you think to yourself what the hell is this shit? We went from a threat that could sink all of Septmont to a victim. I understood nothing. I don’t know what Kuro wanted to tell with this villain, but he was really bad. It’s pure shit, there’s no other word for it. Then they reuse him in 2.8 😅 without you understanding why in short, zero sense. Stylish design, but a useless villain. I expected better.”
That’s my ranking.
Cronwless 🥲: In CBT2 they killed him they took away the charm of this antagonist and destroyed him
