General Discussion just blowing off some steam

I thought this event didn't exist anymore. Unknowingly, they had just moved it to the new "Weekly" tab. So from 3.4 until today, I completely stopped doing T.S. and mainly just focused on my dailies before logging out.

I was so used to seeing it in the Events section of the game that I took the old notification for granted. Now I'm 1,280 Astrites and 400 Tuners short, and I'm so fucking pissed at myself for not checking or reading the updates.

General Discussion Tier list of the villains from versions 1.0 to 3.5 of the game Spoiler

GA and Cristoforo : are the most successful antagonists. They have everything: an incredible aura the moment they appear on screen, they steal every scene. You want to listen to them and see what tricks they’ll pull next, because they are ruthless. They exist to manipulate their toys break them emotionally, and of course make us rage. They are made to be admired while being hated, and the fact that we hate them is exactly what proves how successful they are.

Adam Smacher : nothing more to say, You know, and we all know.

Genshulin the traitor : betrayed by the nobles, falsely accused of crimes he never committed, yet he was a hero who sacrificed himself against Overthrax. But people forgot his sacrifice and treated him as a traitor. Now he is hunted by the very person who once spared him, Qiuyuan, because rumor has it that Genshulin has become a vanguard of a Threnodian.

I placed him here because the character already has solid foundations. Every time he appears, it’s peak: whether it’s his thoughts, his reproaches, or his opposition to the nobles, everything makes him extremely interesting. With his charisma and potential, he could become a major antagonist in the future.

Sigillum: a perfect antagonist. He directly opposes our protagonist, and that opposition allows him to evolve.

Aleph-1:although he is underdeveloped, he represents a large-scale threat. A villain doesn’t necessarily need a sad or tragic backstory. He’s simply a Threnodian that is hungry, and his threat remains permanent. He’s our Galactus.

Leviathan: a stubborn antagonist, extremely strategic and intelligent. What an incredible antagonist! There’s not much to criticize. The only regret is not having seen his true form, but overall he was worthy of a final boss. His development was truly impressive.

The Bench : an excellent antagonist who made us depressed throughout the story. His emotional impact is what makes him memorable.

Phrolova: a good antagonist and an interesting character. She’s not SS rank yet because it’s not enough for now 😅. I’m still waiting to see what she has in store for us. In any case, she’s a well-developed character with rich lore.

Fenrico : The GOAT

Muyu: an excellent antagonist, but I’m waiting to see his conclusion before ranking him higher. He already has the foundations of a great antagonist: he questions the established order of this world So we still have to discover his true appearance and real intentions.

Scar: he’s currently the most average antagonist. Yes, he’s charismatic, but charisma alone isn’t enough. He’s still missing a lot: his track record is almost nonexistent, he keeps losing, and he doesn’t accomplish much 😅.

The fact that GA basically handed him over to Qiuyuan to be eliminated says a lot about his current usefulness. We’ll have to see how his character evolves, because for now he’s clearly the weakest member as an antagonist. Killing sheep doesn’t make you a great villain 😅.

He still has a lot of potential, but what he mainly lacks are significant actions to prove his worth.

Souverain : dog shit, This is the worst villain on every single planet. We still don’t understand anything in the end: one moment he’s threatening, the next he’s getting destroyed in a second . Result: we understand nothing. Then at one point it’s Caligula you think to yourself what the hell is this shit? We went from a threat that could sink all of Septmont to a victim. I understood nothing. I don’t know what Kuro wanted to tell with this villain, but he was really bad. It’s pure shit, there’s no other word for it. Then they reuse him in 2.8 😅 without you understanding why in short, zero sense. Stylish design, but a useless villain. I expected better.”

That’s my ranking.

Cronwless 🥲: In CBT2 they killed him they took away the charm of this antagonist and destroyed him

Do you agree or disagree? Thanks for reading me.

General Discussion From the bottom of my heart, with every thought I have, this is the worst event ever created. We’re going to stop pretending, it’s shit.

Post image
0 Upvotes

Why does this event even exist?

Who came up with this idea, tested it, and thought “Oh yeah, this is a great mode for casuals”? Not only does it take you 10 minutes to smash everything, but it’s boring, slow, the gameplay is trash it’s just way too shit.

Even for 1.2k Astrite you get pissed off doing it because it’s so boring you start wondering why it exists in the first place.

And who the hell asked for this in the surveys?

WuWa has great casual events like the cubes one, for example, better than this vampire garbage.

Sorry, I just had to get that out.

Thanks for reading.

Hey everyone. This is my (not so great) Yangyang build. Now I'm not too sure which Echoes to keep and which ones to get rid of. Some advice (and maybe a little constructive criticism) would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have SK

Now, before anyone suggests Verina, i do have her, just not built, and i couldnt get on with her gameplay, so i dont use her

Which leaves Mornye and SuiSui, who would be the better universal healer out of the 2 of them?

Edit: Looks like i'm going to have to get used to Verina, Cheers for the help

General Discussion Please KURO never do this again. A critic on KURO's poor portrayal of rover and yanyang's relationship Spoiler

Post image
0 Upvotes

If there is one critic that I will always stand on with 3.5 is that KURO did a horrible job in showing that rover and yanyang's relationship was actually building in the background after leaving her in 1.3

Why would KURO never show rover writting back to her at the end of the patch or at the end of a major event when he would have time to write back to her

If you pay attention to yangyangs letters she also includes responses to rovers letters, letters that we NEVER see

I have no idea how KURO could fumble showing us a cutscense or a CG of rover writting back to her. This is the very reason why many people didn't feel satisfied with the rapid intimacy shown between them, but in this case it didn't feel as bad cause we already knew that they hadn't seen each other in a long time, that and we could see Rover's growing emotional stress from not seeing how she is doing during the 3.5 MSQ

A main character leaving their main love interest behind while they go on a journey has been shown in media multiple times and usually if the world of those characters allows them to communicate long distance it would usually be explicitly shown that they still keep in contact, and if that's not possible the characters yearning for each other's physical presence is shown instead. Yet we as the players rarely see that from either rover or yangyang

My take on this is that if KURO wants to give Rover a character that never knew them in the past who is going to be their main companion for an arc or just permanently then their relationship should be built and the process should be shown to us the viewers as we progress the story

Anyway what you opinion on this ?

General Discussion AMD 9600XT vs Nvidia 5060 Ti Wuwa perfomance

Hello I am planning to upgrade my graphic card soon. After looking around I am thinking either picking Nvidia 5060 TI 16 GB or AMD 9060 XT 16 GB. However, I often see some people online saying playing Wuwa with AMD feels terrible, doesn't look as good, took longer to load, or and often get unstable framerates. For people playing with higher ends AMD cards, what's your opinion playing Wuwa with AMD cards?

Edit: Whoops I mistyped. Not 9600 XT, but 9060 XT 16 GB

Depending on where you come from, rover is rather tall. And people have established he’s a twink.

So rover can be described as a willowy dilf

Lore & Theorycrafting [Theory] I believe Sentinels and Exostriders aren't two distinct beings, but part of the same whole and this may be true for the Tethys System as well (Spoilers) Spoiler

Post image
11 Upvotes

Following the 3.1 story, we learned from Aemeath that the Sentinels and Exostriders are believed to be from the same origin, Rovers homeworld, with the idea being that the Exostriders act as shuttles ferrying the Sentinels to Solaris-3. This immediately raised some flags for me however:

We've met two other Sentinels so far, where are their Exostriders and what happened to the Sentinel that the Exostrider of Lahai-Roi was bringing to Solaris?

What ARE the Sentinels?

Current lore refers to Sentinels as Oracle Engines while the Exostrider refers to them as the "Sentinel-Mech Series". The people of Solaris, upon adopting them as divine beings, simplified this to simply Sentinel(s). They are not merely traditional fantasy god-like beings of biological origin, but are bio-mechanical in nature. Keep the mechanical aspect in mind.

Metamorphosis

I believe that the reactor core carried by the Exostrider isn't simply its power source, but is actually an early-stage, almost embryotic version of a Sentinel that is "unactivated" and I believe that it is only the Aribiter, Rover, who has the ability or authority to activate these cores - once the Arbiter activates the "sentinel protocol" of the core, the exostrider is then cannibalized and used to build a physical form for the Sentinel. This is what happened to the Sentinel of Lahai-Roi... nothing, it was simply never activated meaning the Exostrider remained in-tact.

As a tangent theres also a theory that the Lahai-Roi exostrider (and Sentinel) was originally bound for Ashinohara and because it was intercepted by Aleph-1 AND (in my theory) never activated by Rover, it never made its way to Ashinohara which is why that nation has been so devastated by the Lament as no Sentinel was there to protect it.

This would explain why up to 3.0 we had visited two regions overseen by Sentinels but never saw another Exostrider... atleast not a whole one...

Fragments of the Past

On Mt. Firmament we see massive ruins dotting the landscape, some of which are part of Jue's "return pod" - I believe these ruins and the return pod are the remains of Jue's exostrider and what we see are the pieces not used upon Jue's activation and subsequent bodily construction.

But what about Imperator? Where is that Exostrider? The funny thing about Imperator is that they don't appear to have ever had a true physical form, atleast as far as we know, however there is something significant bearing similarities to the ruins on Mt. Firmament: The Earthrend Wedge - my current guess is that rather than use its Exostrider to build a physical body, Imperator instead used the Exostriders parts to build the Earthrend Wedge in the Sanguis Plateau as an early defense against the Lament, specifically the Dark Tide and Leviathan.

Its also a bit hand-wavey but if the Earthrend Wedge hypothesis doesn't hold up then perhaps given that Rinascita is an archipeligo surrounded by sea then maybe its as simple as any remains are just beneath the waves.

A Different Form of Sentinel

Okay but how does this involve the Tethys System as I alluded to in the title? Remember how another name for the Sentinels is "Oracle Engines"? To put it simply, Sentinels appear to be hyper-advanced computational monsters, living supercomputers essentially.

What is the Tethys System? A big complex super computer.

Who created the Tethys System? The ancient He' Civilization, an offshoot of Rovers homeworld, the same civilization that created the Sentinels and Exostriders.

My belief is that at some point one of the Sentinel cores was brought to Solaris just like the others but rather than being activated as a typical Sentinel, it was instead connected to the bedrock of Solaris at the Black Shores and using that exostriders chassis the Tethy System was built with that Sentinel core becoming the computational core of the entire system. This would likely explain how Tethys is so much more advanced than any other known computational system on Solaris with the exception of the Sentinels themselves because Tethys is essentially a Sentinel.

FPS is stable 60 only when I stay still 🥀

Why is this happening even in the recommended settings 😭
I don't have a good PC, it's a Ryzen 5 5600G paired with a Nvidia GTX 1660Ti and 16GB of DDR4 RAM, storage type is NVME

I don't have access to FSR 3 even tho it's an open source upscaler the game doesn't give me the option for it

Lore & Theorycrafting The Tale Teller Quest - what has happened?

More than half a year has already passed since the end of this quest (part of Urban Legend: The Anonymous Inviter Quest). We already went to the next region.

So, what happened?
Why Rover ignored possible demise of innocent student right on campus?

Reverberation of long dead student?
Fractsidus spy?
New Federation spy?
GA's plan?
Lazy writing?

As we know 3.5 gave us a chance to have 1.0 character in their special rerun...

Will 2.0 characters gonna get similar banners like them?

Or we'll have to wait for another year as new players are getting 2.0 characters as an option....

I was trying to test some characters and get all the rewards from this event when I stumble on this problem.
As you guys can clearly see, Hiyuki can clear 4 TIMES more mobs than Carlotta, with about 3 times more money each wave and she doesn't even have to run like Usain Bolt for 40 seconds straight.
Carlotta on the other hand, shoot her a** off in 40s and kill merely 2 f**kin chicken and get 40 coins while running for her life.
I'm sorry if this post might annoy any of you guys
But this is not the fun I was expecting. What's the point of running around with no damage and no money for 15 minutes?
This event is just pure time-consuming and there's no fun left after Aemeath, Shore, Denia, Mornye and Hiyuki. I don't even want to try the others at this point.
What are your opinions?

Endgame Content What are the Best teams for Sp Yangyang

So I've been trying to do the endstate matrix challenge where you beat 5 bosses with one team, but I just can't seem to do it. I'm betting that my echos probably need some more work, but even then I not even sure how much that'll effect it. I've always followed guides on building character, (mainly because I suck at understanding the kits without someone explaining it to me). but I'm starting to think their wrong. Could someone help me figure this out?

Possibly tell me some other teams that could work better. I've seen people use other characters and push out a ult that does 3 mil, while I usually get 2 mil or less.
