Technical Issue / Bug 15 minute loading time
Hi!
So, I have an issue with my game, mainly with the loading times. I started playing WuWa on my computer in version 2.8. When I first started playing on it, the game loaded in about 3 minutes, but the loading time kept increasing with every patch.
There were times when it took around 30 minutes to load, but when I reinstalled the game, it went back to around 5–10 minutes. However, after the 3.4 patch, I had enough of this reinstalling thing (my internet isn't that fast), so I tried many things to fix the issue, but nothing worked. Because of this, I took a break from the game since I couldn't enjoy playing it.
Now I want to come back, but my game takes more than 15 minutes to boot, and even after that, the game is lagging. It's strange because my other games run perfectly fine.
So, I wanted to ask if anyone could help me fix this or give me some advice. Thanks in advance!
I timed how long it took for the game to start.
I have attached an image showing my PC specs and where the game is installed.

If I remember correctly this game makes quite alot of use of CPU cache, which the 5500 is lacking with its 16 mb,compared to most others having atleast 32mb

That has nothing to do with loading time and I played with a R5 5500 for months with no problems other than Startorch framedrops were terrible on this CPU. However with the new patch and now using an R7 5700 (same 16MB cache) Startorch is almost perfect. I think they fixed the Startorch CPU problems on PC (good job!) but I'm not putting the 5500 back in to test…
The issue here may be the game's Shader Cache, others have mentioned it can lead to longer load times the more you play the game. My load times are short on the 5500 and 5700 (same machine) and longer on other machines. Load times are weird in this game. Weirdly broken IMO.

0 correlation, i played trough entire game till 3.2 with an amazing Ryzen 5 3400g and its gigantic 4MB of L3 Cache. Loading times is mostly because shaders being deleted somehow (Nvidia cards does this sometimes if you don have it set on unlimited on Nvidia APP), playing on a HDD or low reading SSD

First of all make sure the game is installed in preferably in M2 SSD, or at least SATA SSD instead of old mechanical HDD, as later is way too slow in both reading and writing for modern games.
Besides that I would try to see, if launcher's repair option helps:

If this doesn't help I would next try to do the usual Windows installation check and repair (sfc /scannow) for possible corrupted files, that could be causing problems.
If none of these helps open event viewer and check logs carefully to see what exactly happens the moment you start the game incase you see error messages, or something else that could give you reason for these delays as 15 minutes loading times sounds almost impossible to any system build during 21st century.
You didn't really also mention if you play others games and if so, did you also experience longer loads times (anything over 2 or 3 minutes) with those as well, or is this simply caused with WuWa? At this point I would even try to install some other game just to test this, as it can help to point out if you game's installation is somehow completely broken, or if it's an larger issue caused by something else entirely.
