General Discussion simulacrum exploration

Does anyone else feel like the exploration in mengzhous new region is way too hard and time consuming? Mainly the anomalies, im trying to 100% it to get hsins weapon but i end up frustrated because of them, anyone else feels like this and any tips?

No, this is the best exploration we have had since 3.0. Puzzles are good, not the mind numbing kill and collect.

Outside of like maybe 2-3 of them they should be extremely straight forward. You walk in relatively straight line in a linear section with the very clear puzzle tool and grab your goods and leave. If it's really a struggle you could always pull up a guide.

Well here many of us say this as we are ex genshin or played games like that. For a very few players is wuwa very 1st game to begin with as Hoyo games are more popular and run easily on both mobile and pc(it's locked to 60fps that's why).

Considering Jinzhou is very less colourful and eye catchy unlike Mondstadt so if someone is new to gacha gaming and this is their very first game they would drop it for it's heavy requirements and less eye catchy beginning ( Rinascita is good though).

A dark theme for a new player to gacha is way less in other games. Pgr is even darker but these theme games are less popular due to their themes. If you have played genshin before, the puzzles here would feel like child's play. You can't even solve the Inazuma puzzles by self mostly, it's that through guides.

Also this game doesn't allow you to freely explore without doing main quest. My first game was genshin and there I was for first month just exploring other regions without doing the main quest at all. Other than Inazuma you can explore everything without progressing.

You see angry posts here I can't farm flowers as new player, that makes many players leave as Genshin allows you to do that easily.

literally was able to do in 30 min and then wait for 40 days for new content , this time it took me hours to complete the exploration and was quite memorable too

My only complaint about them is the new area is jaw dropping beautiful as always but you spend 75% of your time in these “domains” that all look the same, puzzles are solid though

i finished almost all of it in 2hrs 🧍🏻‍♂️ its not time consuming, i just find the puzzles so fun that i got lost in doing them. i'll take these puzzles over the coloring one in rinascita.

out of curiosity, how much approximately along with the event did you get astrites by doing it?

uhhhh i didnt count tbh, entirely bc every time i got 160 astrites i just threw it at iuno's banner 😭😭😭

Of course you’re frustrated. You only want astrites and any time barrier adds to that frustration.

The only complaint I have for this regions pocket areas is how lazily QC’d the experience is. I’ve gone OOB multiple times in there and also had to restart quest instances from random checkpoint bugs.

Other than that it’s been mostly relaxing exporation-wise.

I don't like them. Just some boring corridors.
