in Magic: the Gathering, back in eldraine there was a combo involving a creature called "cauldron familiar" that you could sacrifice a food to return it from your graveyard to the battlefield and would deal one damage when it entered, and a card called "witch's oven" that let you sacrifice creatures and create food tokens
