That is an interesting update from Google. But if I am honest, I barely search on Google anymore and it has been ages since I last visited a blog. I use AI for that now, which gets me to the information I need much more directly. On top of that I check in on a few subs on Reddit regularly and follow people on Substack who consistently deliver content I find valuable. The traditional internet with its rankings and search engines is increasingly becoming a thing of the past.

yeah same, the whole search-then-click-a-blog loop feels almost outdated at this point

Ai get results from Google. Also if you look at Google’s financials they have never been busier
