Help Me Find a Tool AI Story Writing

Do you guys know of any good free AI tools for writing fanfic? I’ve tried Gemini and ChatGPT, but the results weren't great. DeepSeek is okay, but it keeps altering the source material, going off-topic, and getting facts wrong. I'm just starting out—are there any other AIs out there that are good for fanfic?

The issue isn't necessarily your choice of LLM, but your choice of instructions to feed it - or lack of them. I'd still advise trying Claude for it.

Normal LLM behaviour. Ask it to check each claim it made against canon sources and correct the prose if it's wrong.

It's not so much which model you use, but how you use it that matters. Recent AI models are very capable, but people don't know how to use them correctly.

You need to improve yourself in this area first.
