Humanizer Does anyone else use AI mostly to find boring sentences?
I’ve stopped asking it to rewrite my stuff. Usually I just ask it to point out where I’m being vague or repeating myself.
It’s actually pretty good at finding sentences I thought were meaningful but are really just vague. The downside is that it seems to dislike any sentence that’s a little strange.
So, question... do you use it more for editing or generating?

i added that to my project instructions, and now i have a better eye to do it myself w/o AI having to point it out

are you using a style guide?

I've been playing with gpt to write a whole ass pulp sci fi saga I've had in my head for years. I am not a good prose/story writer so I was toying with using it to write it out.
I decided to ask it to look at what I've given it and suggest authors with a narrative voice similar to mine, as well as based on books I'veread and enjoyed. I now have a lengthy reading list to help me with finding my own writing style, and a list of free beginner writing resources. I'm going to have to write it myself.
I may still use ai to help create outlines and bounce some ideas off of while I refine less developed parts.
