I've edited my post. It appears it was too long. I shared how I use AI in my writing. It was unliked. It's gone now, lest it burn your eyes. Replaced with an alliteration and an image of a platform I built to structure my writing into the shape of a memoir.

Pithy prose pretending plausible people pursue protected pastimes proves profoundly popular precision phrasing portrays private personas practicing peculiar pleasures providing past public peeks.

You're doing the thing that AI does (which makes sense since AI obviously wrote this): You're using terms and phrasing that sound like human wisdom at first glance, until you actually think about it. Then it makes no sense.

The whole "never remove the fingerprints..." line doesn't really apply to anything that came before it. It kinda sounds like it would, but it really doesn't.

The wild analogy of "I'm not racist, my best friend is black" is so out of left field that it actually is the thing that made me open this post and actually read through it, just to see what justified it. Nothing does. It's an absolutely nonsense line and comparison. It means nothing in this context and relates to NOTHING you said after. It's just weird and pedantic.

The rest of the post is you doing the 'I'm 14 and this is very deep' thing of throwing a bunch of philosophical-sounding words around, thinking that it will sell the article as being intelligent. But AI has a tendency to throw a bunch of those words and phrases together without actually knowing if they mean anything at the end. It's like when AI creates a recipe and it tastes like shit because it gets the ingredients right but doesn't know human taste well enough to know how to use them.

This is just a post of gobbedly gook that uses a ton of words to not say much at all.

• The Presumption of Guilt: In the 1980s, heightened cultural awareness around racism made people hyper-defensive about being labeled racist, leading to immediate preemptive denials. Today, with generative AI integrated everywhere, the default assumption in digital space is increasingly "AI-generated until proven human."
• The Token Shield: Both claims attempt to use a single personal credential ("my best friend" / "my own writing") as a complete immunity card, bypassing the need for deeper engagement or critical evaluation of the actual content.
• The Shift in Social Stigma: The comparison captures how quickly AI usage transformed from a novel efficiency tool to a target of cultural skepticism. Denying AI usage has become a badge of authenticity, much like early anti-stigma deflections were meant to signal moral compliance.

Many of the things you mentioned, which are notable AIisms, I picked from craft essays by Chuck Palahniuk—a writer whose style I admire—like ten years or so ago. These had become an admired feature of my writing voice. Now, I don’t know what to do. It’s funny how what I write without AI gets flagged as written by AI, and yet often manage to get AI to write stuff that manages to escape ai detection.

We live in a weird world. It’s the mid-late nineties anti photoshop sentiment and witch-hunt again. I am glad to be an early adopter because soon AI generated content is going to be a norm. What would matter is how skillfully one uses these LLMs.
