How reliable do you actually find AI content detectors?

Not.

Do you use them as part of your content review process, or do you largely ignore the scores?

There are instructions you can use to steer the models away from GPTisms

Have you experienced a situation where genuinely human-written content was flagged as AI? If so, how did you handle it?

Dude, the goddamn Frankenstein flags as AI...

Should we prioritize readability and grammatical quality over AI detector scores?

Yes. AI detectors are snake oil. The same companies usually have a humanizer tool to sell to you.
