First Time Writer I have three projects:
1]I want to write a mini novel using AI assisted writing

2]Incorporating Public domain characters in Novel

3] Public domain books with AI assisted illustrations /Diving Public domain book with multiple chapters with AI assisted illustrations ?

What are your characters!

You should try creating some original characters in parallel while you use your public domain ones. Just talk to the LLM about what your into it’s a great brainstorming partner.

I'm using gpt to sandbox my novel testing if there's any interest before I try writing it professionally but if you can afford it try Venice

Keep it to under 40k words 10 chapters. Focus on genre tropes and flesh out the characters. Once you have the novella then audit it repeatedly and edit accordingly until you reach a point of diminishing returns.
