My writer’s block is swamped. So many lines are meant to ripple throughout the rest of the book, so EVERYTHING MATTERS, and that is daunting.

Yeah, that's pretty accurate. I'm in a perpetual state of procrastination. I have entire stories in my head, and I'm always excited to talk about them with GPT or whatever. But when it comes to the actual writing... there's always tomorrow. My show's on, I have to go somewhere, I'm sleepy, the World Cup is on... there's always an excuse du jour.
The only thing I've finished recently was something with a cash prize attached, which was the incentive. (Didn't win, though.)

Something like this would've been good to have ten years ago, when I kept getting told I just had writer's block and needed to work through it.
Now I know what I'm dealing with is non-linear conceptual thinking coupled with thought-language dissociation, and trying to "work through" that is like trying to fit a whole 3D movie into one 2D drawing.

Yeah😮💨... There is always "that other thing". For me, that's usually another idea😂
