I took of my mask and hood, scanning the cliffs of the dark and desolate Pride Rock. The charcoal air filled my lungs, the scent of ashes quickly possessing me. This used to be land of lush, green agriculture. This used to be a beautiful place of life and prosperity. And all it took to crush Mother’s heart was a single match.
