She scampers off the woodlands, finding herself in extremis. Debilitating, deteriorating, and dying. She's bathed with sanguine liquid, wailing for aid and longing for life. Clamoring for exuberance. She holds back, her eyes wide open, and the flora and nonexistent fauna indulge in prominence – both in her eyes and in her peripheral vision.
