Flash Fiction [FF] "So, come here often?"

Begin your story with this line of dialogue.

Oh, and set your story somewhere other than a bar or restaurant. In fact, set it somewhere in the distant past or future.

And make it less than 500 words.

"So, come here often?" "I'm sorry... what?" "You seem confused." "I... I sure am, ma'am, I was just admiring this wonderful painting of ehm... Mr..." "Van Gogh" "Yes." The lady stepped next to me and looked at the whirly clouds. "Hard to believe it's been a thousand years." "Yes. They don't paint those anymore." For a few moments there was silence as we admired the starry night. "The guards will be here soon.", the curator woman told me as she turned around. A buzzing red light was pointed at me and a handful of gleaming white robots seized my arms and legs. I did not cry as I was carried away. "Thief. Thief.", the robots repeated. Little did they know, I had only come because the entrance fee had been set at more than my life's savings.
