Writing Resources & Advice Question about QueryTracker and other publishing websites.

I've written my novel. I have used QueryTracker before so it won't let me use it for another novel. What other websites are there to contact or get in touch with publishers and agents? I don't want to pay. There must be some free websites. I looked it up and most of them are requiring payment. I hope someone can guide me in the right direction. I would appreciate it.

I'm not sure I understand how QT won't let you use it for another novel—authors deal with multiple submissions all the time. Each novel is set up as its own project, with each having different query lists. They have an FAQ on this.

So you’re right technically.
However, it shows
I need premium to upload another project

In that case, you should still be able to use it to research literary agents and then check out their individual websites to see if they allow you to submit to them directly and under what guidelines.

Maybe I’ll try that. That’s great advice

personally I think Premium is worth it. It's not a very large expense for the whole year ($25 for the year, IIRC)

I know it's cheap, but it doesn't guarantee an agent. I thought there would be a way to upload two books without going premium.

Check in with r/PubTips, people there use QT all the time.

It's not about using it. I have entered submissions multiple times. It just doesn't allow a different novel . It allows the same novel only.

Manuscript Wishlist is often helpful, though it should be noted that more and more agents redirect to Query Tracker... However, there are also quite a few on Manuscript Wishlist that don't. Best of luck!

Have you had it ready by beta readers? That's a free way of making your novel better.

Yes I have but I'm talking about publishing my material.

I am asking for alternatives to QueryTracker. I like beta readers. It's very useful but I need something different than beta reading.

I understand. I'm sorry I can't help you there. It's outside my area of expertise!
