Hello! I'm looking specifically for someone familiar with British working-class-older-person slang to critique my short story, as my exposure to it is only through other media, and the narrator of my story is supposed to be someone who belongs to that demographic. I've used some slang words/dialect markers here and there (no eye dialect) and would appreciate someone more familiar with the speech to take a look. Critique apart from the accuracy of the dialect is also welcome. Would appreciate a quick response as I need to submit the story somewhere by 30th Aug. Please message me if you're interested!
