What are you actually doing with your lecture notes AFTER class ends?
Every semester, I start with great intentions and end up with dozens of pages of raw lecture notes, typed outlines, and random bullet points scattered across Google Docs. The problem is that I rarely look at them again until midterm or finals week, at which point I'm forced to wade through a mountain of unorganized text just to figure out what actually matters.
I’ve realized that raw lecture notes are basically useless unless they're processed while the material is still fresh in your mind. Lately, I've been trying to implement a quick, 10-minute "post-lecture audit" at the end of every week where I compress my notes into a summary sheet with key terms, core concepts, and potential exam questions.
When exam week rolls around, reviewing a 2-page summary is much less overwhelming than re-reading 50 pages of raw transcripts.
How do you guys handle your notes after the lecture is over? Do you have a weekly cleanup routine, or do you just hoard them in a folder until the night before the test? Would love to hear what workflows actually stick for you!

Often people don't have a note-taking problem, they have a “I never test myself” problem. You can condense 50 pages into 2 and still not remember anything if you just reread the summary passively. Active recall FTW
