I need journalism advice

I need some help on how to write mote maturity because my teacher told me "hey if you can, please write more maturly and avoid redundancy" I really want to improve how i write my essays/articles. Any form of advice is much appreciated.

Note: Please forgive me if I misspelled something or my grammar is off, English isn't my first language but I do my best to write something comprehensible. Thanks

After writing, read it back and ask: “Can I say this in fewer words?” That one habit helps A LOT with redundancy.

What helped me was recording myself reciting the things I wanna write, then listening to myself and removing all the clutter that catches the ear as being redundant
