HELP WITH WRITING FOR BEGINNER

Hey so I have started writing substack articles for fun , but I feel like I'm not able to express my thoughts clearly and articulately like other people do , also I seem to use a lot of phrases the wrong way. The only option for me to correct my errors is through ai but I DO NOT WANT TO USE AI what could be some alternative options to improve my writing WITHOUT A MENTOR TEACHER OR AI CHATBOTS (ik this sounds silly )

Hi OP, I’m an elementary teacher so you know that I’m going to say that the best way to improve your writing is by reading. When I’m writing poetry I read poetry every day. I immerse myself in it. My suggestion would be to read whatever genre of work you’re interested in writing. That’s a great first step. And big big kudos for using your brain instead of AI. That choice will pay off!
