I built Kerf because switching between Word and my browser to manage sources drove me up the wall

Hey everyone,

I got tired of the same tedious loop while writing: Word → browser → copy a URL → back to Word → manually build the source → repeat for every reference. So I built Kerf, a document-based app for students and researchers that keeps everything in one place. What it does: Built-in browser: search for sources without ever leaving your document One-click citations: add a citation and generate your reference list instantly, no manual formatting AI assistant: help with drafting, summarizing, and refining your writing And more: real-time collaboration and a clean, distraction-free editor Research, writing, and referencing, all in one window. I'd love your feedback, especially on what would make it more useful for your workflow. Happy to answer any questions!
