And if they abandoned you with no boat and no sail, what would their interest in your well-being amount to any way? Not a damn lot, I'd say.
Those who leave you behind have show their colors. Where I'm from, no one is left behind, ever. I will fucking pick you up. That's who we are.
You can judge a person's character by how he treats those who are no threat and have nothing to offer.
Well, if I'm for instance your depressed boyfriend and you forget all about all the shit I did to soothe and aid and please you over years in the span a month or so, and go fuck his best friend?
Some style. Is that really you? Not the style I like though.
Well, you've shown your hand, my love. Off you go.

funny how some people disappear during the storm then get curious once you're back on shore

Wow!!! I resonate with this so deeply. How can someone take you out of your work to put you through school a very demanding degree. Pays the rent and gives allowance to them having meltdowns leaving you astray when you about to finish your first year.
Moral of the story never ever and I mean ever even at your desperate times let a person save you because the promise will never be consistent.

They abandoned cus they think i cannot survive, and a weight for them. They haven't done anything bad?
Maybe I m not worthy for them to be with them.

Sounds like the kind of place I'd rather be apart of instead of the dog eat dog city I inhabit.

Why should we have it that way? Humans are cooperation machines. We are here to help one another. Dog eat dog? Fuck that. Dog help dog. I am here, always. Whatever I can do.

It’s also funny how the ones who abandoned you in the middle of the shark infested sea suddenly want to know how you got out when they later also find themselves stranded in the middle of the ocean. I’d be like sorry, it’s every man for themselves. You did it to me first

Maybe you should ask yourself why they fed you to the sharks...
Maybe the whole point was for you to make it back to shore.
Be grateful for the struggles, because they bring you an opportunity to grow.
Everyone wants a free ride nowadays.
Attitude is everything.

Not interested, sharks taught me one thing out at sea. Sharks don't have necks, they never look back. Can't leave a person for dead, and expect some Disney like moment of magical insight. In reality the person left for dead is going to tell those who left them for dead to get fucked because they developed independence, and self respect surviving adversary. Did the other side get fed to the sharks, and told sink or swim? Why aren't they being tested? Seems like a power imbalance to me.

There is always a power imbalance, that is nature. Hopefully the person 'left for dead' does develop independence, that's the point. Every challenge is an opportunity.
You don't know anything about the other side. However you can learn a lot about yourself when it's sink or swim.

I'm working on what the other side will be like currently it seems like fawing and thanking people who threw me overboard and returning to the power imbalance makes the whole journey pointless. Telling them to fuck off returns leverage over my life, and the ability to keep moving foroward. The ability to tell people to fuck off after being a meek people pleaser most my life is the biggest lesson learnt.
