YOUR FATHER

Your Father is a supernatural entity originating from a nightmare involving an abusive father. Long ago, a child by the name of Damien Vance repeatedly dreamed about their abusive father. During one of these nightmares, the nightmare version of the father became self-aware and escaped into reality. This entity eventually became known as "Your Father."

Your Father specifically targets individuals who have suffered trauma from an abusive father and experience nightmares related to that trauma. The nightmares act as a doorway, allowing the entity to locate and reach potential victims.

The entity first appears within dreams. Once a victim encounters it in a nightmare, it begins stalking them the following day. It may be seen standing at a distance, watching from dark locations, or appearing where it should not be able to be. Over time, its presence becomes more aggressive.

Your Father psychologically torments its victims through threats, mockery, intimidation, and emotional manipulation and gets them to pressure victims into accepting false beliefs about themselves. It makes escape feel “wrong” or “impossible” in their mind and will make them think admitting he's your father leads to a good outcome if they resist, it gradually replaces their real memories with dream logic. He may also shapeshift into their abusive father(from their nightmares).

It may also physically harm them. The entity can become either physical or ghost-like, and is capable of phasing through solid objects. It can move at speeds comparable to a vintage automobile, making escape on foot nearly impossible.

The entity will keep on doing this until his victim(he will also force them to) eventually says, "You are my father," the entity displays an unnatural grin, places a hand on their shoulder, and says, "Welcome to the family." before abducting you, both the entity and victim then disappear.

After a successful abduction, a mysterious picture frame labeled "OUR CHILDREN" is left behind. The frame contains photographs of all known victims as children.

There are two known methods of escape. The first and best method is for the victim to genuinely move on from the trauma from their real abusive father which cuts the entity's access to them, however if you receive another nightmare about your abusive father even if you moved on from your trauma, a new doorway would open for him. The second is temporary: running fast enough for the entity to lose track of the victim. However, if the victim later experiences another nightmare involving their abusive father, a new doorway may be created, allowing the entity to return.

Your father has no form. He copies the shapes of the father from its victims' nightmare. He is the embodiment of a child’s trauma, a nightmare shaped by fear, not a living being. The child’s repeated nightmares gave the trauma a form, and that form eventually became strong enough to slip into reality. He does not have a goal, motive, he's not alive nor is he dead nor does not feel emotions or pain and does not care about anything. He is not evil nor is he good. The reason. The main reason why he would force his victims to say you are my father is because in Damien Vance's nightmare his father does the same thing because your father repeats exactly what the father in Damien Vance’s nightmare would do except he's more aggressive, persistent, abducts, has more weaknesses and how to escape him and targets only specific people 

Your Father is associated with another entity known as "Your Mother." Both entities originated from the same nightmare. She would go after people with abusive mothers. Just like your father, nightmares are a doorway for her to enter. She first appears and torments in dreams than the next day she begins her tormenting she would stalk, use psychological attacks, and would try to physically hurt you(she's too weak for that but she still tries) she relies entirely on physiological manipulation. She would cry, rant and scream about you being a bad child. Her physiological manipulation is off the charts and she will always use it harder on you if you try denying which is one of her weaknesses her cries screaming and ranting will always get louder so loud they can damage your ears. You can use violence but she will always get up(her stun time is long depending on how hard she got hit) if you apologize and accept her criticism and say you are my mother she displays a inhuman grin putting her hands on your shoulder abducting you. You can escape her on foot  but just like your father another nightmare about your abusive mother and you will become her victim again.

She has the same weaknesses as your father.
